If it matters enough to care for, we can clean it.
Wash has a different philosophy. After 65 years in the garment care business, our team has seen — and cleaned — things that most people would never think to bring to a dry cleaner. Mascots. Movie wardrobes. Boat covers. Band uniforms. Vintage pieces that predate most of our equipment. If it matters, we take it seriously. Here is what we are capable of.
Mascot suits are worn hard, sweated in, and rarely cleaned properly. We handle the full costume — foam, fabric, fur, and structural elements — using processes that sanitize deeply without damaging the materials that give a mascot its shape and character. Schools, sports teams, and organizations trust us with their most visible ambassador.
A quality car cover represents a significant investment — and a dirty one can scratch the finish it is meant to protect. We clean car covers of all sizes and materials, removing embedded road grime, pollen, mildew, and debris while preserving the protective coatings that make them effective.
Marine canvas accumulates mildew, algae, bird droppings, and season after season of outdoor exposure. We professionally clean boat covers, bimini tops, and marine canvas of all sizes — removing biological growth and staining while preserving the waterproofing and UV protection built into quality marine fabric.
Outdoor cushions are exposed to everything — sun, rain, mold, pollen, and years of use. Most people throw them away when they get dirty enough. We clean them. Deep cleaning that removes embedded mold, mildew, and ground-in staining from outdoor and patio cushions of any size, restoring them to like-new condition.
From designer sneakers to leather dress shoes, suede boots to athletic trainers — footwear cleaning requires material-specific expertise that most cleaners do not have. We clean, condition, and restore shoes using processes appropriate to each material, whether that is canvas, leather, suede, mesh, or specialty fabrics.
Fabric banners, branded tablecloths, booth backdrops, and soft display materials accumulate event after event of handling, shipping, and exposure. We clean fabric convention and trade show displays so they look fresh and professional every time they go up — protecting the brand investment behind them.
Band uniforms are complex, heavily structured garments with embroidery, metallic trim, wool, and polyester components that all require different care. We work with school bands, marching bands, and performance groups to maintain their full uniform inventory — keeping every piece looking performance-ready throughout the season.
Pittsburgh is an active film and production market, and working wardrobes take a beating. We provide wardrobe cleaning services for film, television, and theater productions — handling costume pieces with the care they require while turning them around on the schedule productions demand. Specialty items, period pieces, and delicate costumes handled with precision.
Vintage and antique garments cannot be cleaned like modern clothing. Aged fibers, historical dyes, and delicate constructions require expertise that most cleaners do not have. Our team approaches vintage and heirloom pieces with the reverence they deserve — assessing each item individually before any cleaning process begins.
Fur, shearling, and fur-trimmed garments need care most cleaners aren't equipped for. We coordinate cleaning, conditioning, repairs, and off-season cold storage with a trusted furrier partner — keeping every piece performance-ready for the season ahead.
Area rugs — Persian, Oriental, synthetic, natural fiber — require specialized cleaning that accounts for dye stability, pile direction, and construction. We clean area rugs of all sizes, removing deeply embedded dirt, pet dander, allergens, and staining while preserving the colors and structure that make quality rugs worth keeping.
This list represents our most requested specialty items — not the limits of what we can do. If you have something unusual, oversized, delicate, or simply something you have never seen at a dry cleaner before, reach out. We will assess it honestly and tell you what we can do.
Most of what we have learned over 65 years in this business came from the items that nobody else would take. That experience is not something you can replicate with new equipment or a new brand. It lives in the hands of the people doing the work.
We do not apply a one-size-fits-all process to unusual items. Every specialty piece goes through the same four-step evaluation before we touch it.
Every specialty item is examined up close before cleaning begins. Fabric composition, construction, existing damage, staining, and care label requirements are all assessed individually.
Based on the inspection, we select the cleaning process most appropriate for the specific item — wet cleaning, dry cleaning, hand cleaning, or a combination. Never a default.
Cleaned by hand or machine as appropriate, using eco-certified agents selected for the specific material. Monitored throughout the process by experienced staff who know what to watch for.
Every specialty item is inspected again before it leaves our facility. If it does not meet our standard, it does not go back to you until it does.
Beyond our featured specialty items, here is a broader look at the range of unusual and oversized items our team regularly cleans. If you do not see yours, ask — this list keeps growing.
Tell us what you have. We will assess it honestly, explain exactly what we can do, and give you a clear quote. No item is too unusual, too large, or too delicate for a conversation.
